Wildlife Corridor Mapping App

We developed and wrote documentation for an Earth Engine app that will assist in the siting of wildlife corridors in Myanmar. This app is built using the Google Earth Engine JavaScript API.

The user-friendly Earth Engine App we built is designed for use by government officials and experts in engineering and infrastructure planning from the government of Myanmar. We developed the user interface on top of existing backend code written by WWF Myanmar and Smithsonian Institute staff that calculates travel costs across different land use/ land cover types to identify the best sites for wildlife corridors.
