Intro to Google Earth Engine

This one-hour workshop will give you an introduction to Google Earth Engine, a powerful platform for working with geospatial data. We will start with some important data concepts and an overview of the JavaScript and Python APIs. We will then dive into the JavaScript Code Editor interface as we walk through a simple script together. You will learn how to search for data hosted in the Earth Engine Data Catalog and add it to your workflow, create an image mosaic from a time period of interest, clip it to a specific boundary and export the result to your Google Drive. You will also learn how to upload your own data into Google Earth Engine. This hour will end with tips and resources for learning to use Earth Engine.
