Google Earth Engine

I taught a one hour introductory class on Google Earth Engine with TC Chakraborty for Yale F&ES 726 Observing Earth From Space. About 30 graduate and undergraduate students were attending.

This course covers the theory and application of satellite remote sensing as a tool for environmental science. Topics include the fundamentals of electromagnetic radiation, reflection and absorption, satellite and sensor technology, map projections, integration of GIS data, and digital image analysis.
